About Igelkott Defense

Igelkott Defense was founded in 2023 after I saw the need for a small field bag, especially for use during deployment. The options available on the market did not meet my standards for weight, appearance, or capacity, so I made one myself.

It quickly became popular in my platoon and spread through word of mouth. Over time I started producing larger batches and created an Instagram account, which gained attention fast. I also began designing new products based on gear I felt was missing or that I believed I could improve.

Thanks to my customers who use and wear down the gear in the field just like I do, I receive valuable feedback. Quality and function are my priorities. I do not make anything I would not personally use.

I try to keep my prices reasonable, but I cannot compete with companies that mass-produce thousands of items in Asia. What I can offer is something different: gear made in Sweden, careful craftsmanship, and personal responsibility for every item that leaves the workshop.

I am proud to manufacture in Sweden because I believe we need to keep these skills at home to be prepared if crisis or war comes.
